The gathering hut is one of the first buildings available in Foundation.
Description
After becoming available following the construction of the builder's workshop, the gathering hut is the first food resource available to a fledgling village.
Gatherers employed at the site will collect berries from the nearest available berry bushes that are marked within an extraction zone, collecting a single berry at a time before returning to the hut to deposit it.
Berries within the hut are then collected by a transporter employed at a granary that has been assigned to store them.
