The Wheat Farm is a production building in Foundation. Farmers plant and harvest
Wheat, which is then taken to a Windmill or Granary by Transporters. As a basic food production building, it is best-suited to employing Serfs. Wheat is used to produce
Bread and
Beer.
A crop field must be painted for the farm before it will function properly.
Crop Field
The crop field zone is required for the farm to function. The player must paint the field zone via the Paint Crop Field button in the building's overview screen. Each farm's field is exclusive to that farm, and cannot overlap with the zones of neighbouring farms.
The size of the crop field grows with each additional worker.
The minimum ideal field size is indicated in-game, but can also be measured via Brush size.
