The '''Tavern''' is a building in ''Foundation''. It is unlocked for the cost of {{Item|resource=labour influence|value=5}} in tier 2 of the Labour path on the Progression Tree. It is a modular building, meaning that it can contain a number of sub-buildings, which allow different sections of the same building to perform different functions. These sub-buildings are unlocked in various tiers of the Labour path.

==Description ==
The Tavern functions as a social centre for wealthier townsfolk and Visitors related to the Labour Estate, and provides revenue for the town. Apart from Visitors, only Villagers of Commoner or Citizen rank and Combatants of Soldier or Knight rank will use the Tavern.
The tavern is a services building that can serve as an administrative building alongside its luxury services. Once constructed the rooms must be designated in order to perform a function.


There is also the [[kitchen]], an additional part that allows for the production of meals.
