Wheat Farm
The wheat farm is a Food Building in Foundation. Farmers plant and harvest
Wheat, which is then taken to a Windmill or Granary by transporters. As a basic food production building, it produces a food material and is best-suited to employing serfs. Wheat is used to produce
Bread and
Beer.
It produces wheat sheaves from a Crop Field. The field must be painted before farmers will work it.
Crop Field
The crop field zone is required for the farm to function. The player must designate the field zone via the Paint Crop Field button in the building's overview screen. Each farm's field is exclusive to its farmers, and fields from other farms cannot overlap.
The size of the crop field grows with each additional worker.
The minimum ideal field size is indicated in-game, but can also be measured via Brush size.
| Workers | Approx. Size | Visual Demonstration |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Brush Size 17: 1.0x | |
| 2 | Brush Size Max: 1.0x | |
| 3 | Brush Size Max: 1.5x |
