Monastic Scriptorium

The Monastic Scriptorium is a sub-building of the Monastery. It is unlocked in tier 1 on the Clergy path of the Progression tree for the cost of 25 Gold Coins. It produces Manuscripts over time when workers are assigned to it.

All sub-buildings of the Monastery are staffed automatically by Monastics that the player has devoted to the Monastery, rather than being assigned directly by the player. The optimum rank for the Copyist role is Brother/Sister.

The Monastic Scriptorium is modular and can therefore be expanded and decorated, using only the common building parts of the Monastery, which allows additional Copyists to be employed and grants additional storage space. The building does not have any unique building parts.
