On starting a new game, one of a set number of locations must be selected. This will effectively become the 'center' of the village. Once this has been obtained all new territory must be adjecent to an owned section of the map and can be purchased for 500 [[gold coins]]. For each territory owned there is a maintenance cost of 50 coins that must be paid monthly. The territory menu can be selected by clicking on the telescope icon found on the bottom HUD.
