The sawmill is a building in Foundation.
Description
A requirement to expand beyond the initial foundations of a village, the sawmill takes wood from a warehouse or lumber camp to process into planks. Those planks can then be taken by a transporter to a warehouse (which actually require planks to construct) or a builder to a construction site.
