Refectory

The Refectory is a sub-building of the Monastery. It is unlocked in tier 1 on the Clergy path of the Progression tree for the cost of 25 Gold Coins. Once built, the player can assign Rustic, Refined or Monastic foods to the Refectory's three food slots, allowing Villagers of all types and ranks to fulfil Food Needs, and allowing Monastics to fulfil their Monastic Food Needs.

All sub-buildings of the Monastery are staffed automatically by Monastics that the player has devoted to the Monastery, rather than being assigned directly by the player. The optimum rank for the Refectorian role is Brother/Sister.

The Refectory is modular and can therefore be expanded and decorated, using only the common building parts of the Monastery. Expanding the Refectory allows more Refectorians to be employed there, but does not add any further food slots to the building. The building does not have any unique building parts.
